Since forming in 2000 As I Lay Dying has become a
dominating force in the metal music scene.

The band has released five albums including 2007's
An
Ocean Between Us,
with the song "Nothing Left" nominated
for a Grammy, and the May release of
The Powerless Rise.

This summer the five-member band is headlining
The Cool
Tour, including a stop at The LC in Columbus, Ohio tonight.

Bassist and clean vocalist Josh Gilbert recently spoke to
OOTB during some down time at his home in Alabama.
